When healing does not happen on your preferred timeline. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may not control the other person, the timing, the number, the diagnosis, or the outcome. You do control what you agree with and what you bring to Jesus Christ. Your body is not your god and it is not your enemy. It is temporary, valuable, and worth stewarding under the lordship of Jesus Christ. Do the next faithful thing, then stop trying to carry the part that belongs to God.

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
